Ellen Bryant Voigt

Ellen Bryant Voigt (1943–2025) was an American poet and teacher. A MacArthur Fellow and former poet laureate of Vermont, she founded the nation’s first low-residency MFA program for writers at Warren Wilson College. Her collections of poetry include Two Trees, Shadow of Heaven, and Headwaters.
